COO and President of HR Operations
Dan is a vital member of our leadership team, specializing in HR Compliance, Payroll, and Benefits. Renowned for his uncanny ability to recall endless compliance facts, Dan, a seasoned benefits broker, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.
Prior to joining Monarch, Dan worked in HR and Administration at NJ Reentry Corporation, a mid-sized nonprofit dedicated to removing employment barriers for individuals previously incarcerated or court-involved. His career includes a Human Resource Leadership position at a global dental manufacturing company and various HR, Benefits, and Payroll roles at ADP.
Dan resides in Northern New Jersey with his wife and children. His favorite place is by the beach and near the ocean, where he finds peace and relaxation. In his free time, Dan enjoys playing the bass guitar—a creative outlet that helps him unwind and recharge.

HR Manager
As one of our HR Managers, Dana brings robust knowledge in several areas, including compliance with employment laws, policies and procedures, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. She also brings several years of HR outsourcing experience, having partnered with small to mid-sized companies to provide guidance and support across every facet of HR.
Dana previously held HR Generalist roles at Ralph Lauren and Coty Inc., supporting both domestic and international teams in talent acquisition, succession planning, employee development, performance management, and employee relations.
Dana lives in New York with her family and loves spending time outdoors—whether hiking new trails or heading out on road trips. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, exercising, and unwinding with a cup of vanilla chai tea.

Director of Strategic Partnerships & Growth
Geeta serves as Director of Strategic Partnerships & Growth for Monarch, drawing on her strong background in hospitality to champion a heart-centered, service-oriented approach that aligns seamlessly with Monarch’s commitment to clients. Her focus on building meaningful relationships sets the stage for lasting partnerships, reflecting her belief in collaboration and personalized support.
Outside of her professional role, Geeta is a devoted mother to two boys. She finds joy in reading, crocheting, and discovering new culinary experiences, embracing the simple pleasures that fuel her creativity and sense of connection.

HR Manager
As Monarch’s Payroll Specialist, Jay is dedicated to the precision, focus, and problem-solving that payroll demands. She enjoys navigating state-specific nuances and ensuring accuracy behind the scenes — the details that help organizations run smoothly.
Jay began her career as an HR Manager and Generalist in the healthcare industry. Her early work in employee relations and day-to-day HR operations helped shape her analytical mindset, ultimately guiding her toward her specialization in payroll.
Born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, Jay recently married and welcomed her son — a joyful, energetic baby who loves to bounce. When she finds time, Jay enjoys drawing, nurturing her budding interest in gardening, and spending time outdoors — especially quiet, long walks in the park.

HR Manager
In her role as HR Manager, Karen is passionate about problem solving, developing talent and coaching teams and leaders—always aiming for those “aha” moments of clarity. Karen draws on a career that spans small businesses to Fortune 100 companies.
Her experience includes everything from serving as a sole HR practitioner to establishing full HR departments. She holds both SPHR and CEBS certifications, with expertise in payroll, benefits, and strategic HR. Karen’s background covers industries including manufacturing, professional services, and retail.
Karen lives in River Vale, NJ, with her husband of over 25 years and is the proud parent of three grown children. She enjoys working out, walking with friends, traveling, and discovering new restaurants.

Founder and CEO
Kimberly is the Founder and CEO of Monarch, where she leads with a people-first approach to growth, operations, and client partnerships. With more than twenty years of HR experience at companies including Footaction, WebMD, AOL, and USA TODAY Network, she founded Monarch in 2017 to bring accessible, practical HR expertise to organizations of all sizes.
Starting her career as a social worker, Kimberly brings empathy and insight to her work, helping clients navigate challenges with confidence and care.
Residing in Northern New Jersey, Kimberly balances her professional and personal life with grace and enthusiasm. She shares her busy home with her husband and two active teenagers. Outside of work, she enjoys tending to her houseplants, hiking, and practicing yoga. Kimberly also has a passion for loud music and considers coffee an essential part of her day. Although she proudly claims the title of "food snob," she prefers to think of it as having refined taste buds.

As Monarch’s Social Media & Marketing Manager, Melissa supports the team by sharing our story, strengthening our online presence, and helping keep our community connected. After spending years working in both marketing and advertising at top New York agencies, Melissa took a hiatus from the corporate world and shifted her focus to managing and coordinating countless fundraisers and community events. This experience showcased and honed her exceptional communication and organizational skills, strategic mindset, and project management expertise.
Melissa lives in Northern New Jersey with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, spending time at the beach and cozying up with a great book.

HR & Talent Acquisition Manager
As Monarch’s HR & Talent Acquisition Manager, Samantha has honed her expertise in understanding what employers need and recognizing the right fit for candidates. She is passionate about recruiting and takes pride in pairing the right job with the right person, helping both individuals and organizations succeed.
Samantha began her career as a campus recruiter with the Boston Consulting Group and went on to recruit across industries including education, pharmaceutical, life sciences, and technology.
Samantha grew up in Northern New Jersey as the oldest—and only girl—of five kids. After heading to Virginia for college, she felt the pull of home and returned to raise her own family. She and her husband now make their home here. In her few minutes of spare time, Samantha loves unwinding with a good book, crafting with her Cricut, and catching up on her favorite Netflix shows.
